R.D.F. Eurobars Limited was formed as a UK Company on the 1st May 1991.  Our prime function is to design, manufacture, and supply towbars and accessories to vehicle manufactures, importers, and the aftermarket in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Our personnel have many years experience in the towing industry and have had significant influence on the original equipment market of motor manufactures.  We are able to design, test, approve and manufacture towbars which fully meet all the requirements of the European Directive 94/20/EC.  This requires designing products using the motor manufacturers specified mounting points, strength testing to the two million cycle fatigue test and correct installation onto the vehicle, the whole approval procedure being conducted under the supervision of the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions Vehicle Certification Agency.

We have our own dedicated test facility for strength testing of towing brackets which comprises of two electro-hydraulic servo controlled actuator systems calibrated to BS 1610 and BS EN 10002-2.  This enables a design to be subjected to the two million cycle load reversal fatigue test as required by the European Directive 94/20/EC.  In addition, all of our towing brackets are finished in black powder coat paint which is subjected to a 250 hour salt spray test.

To assist motor manufactures to increase market share and profitability from towing accessories, we offer to design and develop a towing bracket jointly with manufactures which fully meets this European standard together with customer specific requirements and to give exclusivity on the product. 

Our manufacturing plant has a highly skilled workforce whose specialist yet comprehensive experience is focused on the efficient production of dependable quality towing products, capable of handling component parts and raw materials through to finish welded products using a variety of engineering methods and equipment.

We operate strictly within the parameters of each motor manufacturers quality system and have also achieved ISO 9001:2000 status as a BSI registered firm.
